NEFEL Battery Precursor Project — Phase 1
The NEFEL Battery Precursor Project marks our flagship initiative — a low-carbon lithium processing facility set in Nigeria’s South-West region. Strategically located within an established industrial park with robust infrastructure, the project is designed for rapid scaling, environmental responsibility, and global impact.
Factory Land Secured (Q3 2023)
Over 50 acres with grid power, water access, and direct motorway connectivity.
Phase 1 Production Target
50,000 tons per annum (TPA) of 6% lithium concentrate by 2026, ramping to 150,000 TPA within three years.
Strategic Offtake and Investment Opportunities
Flexible offtake agreements and equity participation pathways underway.
Environmental & Social Impact Assessment
Completed with best-in-class ESG compliance focus.
Implementation Plan
NEFEL is executing a strategic and phased implementation roadmap for low-carbon lithium battery materials production & supply. This is underpinned by commitment to industrial decarbonization, environmental responsibility and long-term global impact.
Factory Land Secured
50+ acres in a strategic industrial zone secured for NEFEL’s flagship lithium processing facility. A second brownfield site acquisition is currently underway.

ESIA Report Published
Comprehensive ESIA finalized. Findings support the project’s progression, confirming ESG alignment and community consultation efforts.
Q2 2024
Start of Phase 1 Production
NEFEL begins converting low-grade lithium ore into high-purity Spodumene Concentrate (SC6%), supplying global offtakers and battery manufacturers.
Q3 2026
Sustainable Supply, Global Impact
