NEFEL Battery Precursor Plant
Our flagship project is set to deliver 50,000 TPA of SC6 spodumene in its first year, with expansion to 150,000 TPA by year three. Strategically located in Nigeria’s SW industrial corridor, the facility integrates clean energy, secure infrastructure, and direct port access.
SC6 Processing & Refinery Timeline
Factory land secured. ESIA completed. NEFEL’s first processing phase focuses on producing high-grade SC6 lithium concentrate through responsible mineral aggregation and processing. Production starts Q3 2026.

Factory Land Secured
50+ acres in a strategic industrial zone secured for NEFEL’s flagship lithium processing facility. A second brownfield site acquisition is currently underway.
Q3 2023
ESIA Completed
Comprehensive ESIA finalized. Findings support the project’s progression, confirming ESG alignment and community consultation efforts.
Q2 2024
Start of Phase 1 Production
NEFEL begins converting low-grade lithium ore into high-purity Spodumene Concentrate (SC6%), supplying global offtakers and battery manufacturers.
Q3 2026
Sustainable Supply, Global Impact
Our processing approach — anchored in responsible sourcing and energy-efficient systems — enables up to 70% reduction in GHG emissions compared to the conventional export of unprocessed ore.
